Enpr-EMA Annual Meeting 2025 - 20 November, Amsterdam
TEDDY is pleased to share the official invitation to the annual meeting of the European Network of Paediatric Research at European Medicines Agency (Enpr-EMA), which will take place on Thursday, 20 November 2025, from 09:00 to 16:45 CET, at the EMA premises in Amsterdam.
The event aims to support the development of paediatric clinical research by enhancing dialogue across academic institutions, regulatory bodies, healthcare professionals and patient representatives.
- Key topics for the 2025 edition include: Modernisation of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Implementation of the European Union Clinical Trial Regulation, Advances in trial design and translational research, Use of Real-World Data and Artificial Intelligence in paediatric trials.

TEDDY-the European Network of Excellence in Paediatric Clinical Research, actively participates as a Category 1 member in the Enpr-EMA, the European network for paediatric research coordinated by EMA, and in its coordinating group in defining strategic priorities for paediatric research at European level, with Dr. Donato Bonifazi.
At the Enpr-EMA Annual Meeting 2025, a central theme will be the role of translational research, which aims to ensure that scientific and innovative discoveries from basic research are effectively and efficiently translated into clinical benefits for children and young people.
At 11:10 AM during Session II – Enhancing trial design and conduct, Dr. Donato Bonifazi will present the Topic “Translational research from lab to patients: Latest innovations by European Paediatric Transnational Research Infrastructure (EPTRI) “, highlighting the fundamental role of translational research and innovative aspects within the EPTRI infrastructure, with the aim of accelerating the integration of innovative basic research findings into paediatric patient care.
In a context where paediatric needs remain unmet, TEDDY Network, through membership with dedicated research infrastructure such as EPTRI, is committed to providing an important bridge between unmet medical needs and high-quality clinical trials, opening the path to more safe and effective treatments for children in Europe.
