Session Details: The Active Role of TEDDY KIDS in European Paediatric Research
Event Description
The TEDDY KIDS Network includes various Young Persons Advisory Groups (YPAGs) spread across Europe, with a focus on paediatric health. These groups aim to actively involve children and young people, from basic research to clinical research, ensuring that their opinions and perspectives are heard and valued at every stage of the process.
During the event, researchers and healthcare professionals will inform the youth about the importance of biotechnology. The TEDDY KIDS (YPAGs) will play a central role by sharing their experiences within the group and the TEDDY network. The young participants will present their involvement in research projects and European initiatives, highlighting the significance of youth participation in decision-making processes and research activities in the fields of biotechnology and paediatrics.
