This International Course organized by the Medical University of Gdańsk, in collaboration with EURORDIS and EJP RD, and the support of ACCURARE Turkey and ISS Italy, will be held in Gdańsk, Poland on 26 to 27 October 2023.
The course aims to teach participants the following competences through plenary presentations and interactive sessions: Presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills. Participants will improve their ability to communicate and represent specific needs in an assertive way, to influence important decisions and to guide the strategic decision-making when engaging with healthcare providers and other relevant rare disease stakeholders.
The course is open to a maximum of 60 patient representatives.

There is no registration fee or cost for the training. The cost of attendee’s accommodation, meals during the training hours, and training materials will be covered by EJP RD. Twenty-one fellowships will be awarded to attendees to cover travel costs (maximum reimbursement of 435€ per fellow).
