Strengthening paediatric medicine therapy development

We are excited to announce that TEDDY has become a member of the European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure (EPTRI).

EPTRI is a distributed Research Infrastructure (RI) aiming to boost the paediatric research ecosystem and to offer to public and private stakeholders qualified basic, preclinical and translational research services for the development of high-quality, safe medicines,  advanced therapies, medical devices, diagnostics, technologies, and digital solutions for children.

By becoming a member of EPTRI, TEDDY will further enhance its capabilities, strengthening the engagement of all relevant stakeholders to uphold and advance children’s rights and well-being in research and healthcare. The TEDDY Network is dedicated to fostering collaboration among academia, industry, regulatory bodies, and other key partners to ensure that the voices of children and young adults are actively integrated into research and clinical development.

TEDDY’s mission is to promote ethical, innovative, and patient-centered approaches in paediatric studies. We provide a wide range of services—including involvement of young persons advisory groups (YPAGs) in research projects, paediatric therapies and ATMP development plan, regulatory and ethical guidance, effective communication and dissemination of paediatric research, paediatric medicines data access and management, and innovative study design optimization—that facilitate impactful collaboration across institutions, research organisations, and companies.
