We are happy to announce that even this year the youths of KIDS Bari and KIDS Albania have kicked off their activities aimed to promote the involvement of young persons and patients in the research and clinical fields strongly favouring the achievement of goals in the paediatric drug development and availability.
The healthy youths and young patients, members of the KIDS groups, are actively involved in the definition of key issues and questions in the paediatric research projects as well as in the communication and sensitization activities about the healthcare by consciously using the social networks.
This year, their activities will be focused on the development of a serious game on the theme of Paediatric Clinical Research and Clinical Trial Center, as a playful training tool for the young people of the YPAG (Young Persons Advisory Group), and for paediatric patients.
The objective of the serious game is to explain to users what clinical trials are and how they are performed and why they are important for developing drugs suitable for children.
