Peanuts Worldwide PaintFest x Foundation for Hospital Art: A Creative Celebration at University Hospital Center Mother Teresa
On October 2, 2025, the University Hospital Center Mother Teresa (UHCT) in Albania will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Peanuts with a special event: Peanuts worldwide PaintFest. In collaboration with Snoopy, Foundation for Hospital Art, UHCT, and KIDS Albania, a Young Patient Advisory Group (YPAG) of the TEDDY KIDS Network, a mural featuring Snoopy will be unveiled in the Paediatric Unit, providing a meaningful and uplifting experience for young patients.
This event marks the beginning of a global project designed to bring the healing power of art to 75 hospitals worldwide. Art has long been recognized as a powerful therapeutic tool that helps children cope with the emotional and psychological challenges of illness. Through creative expression, children can release stress, communicate feelings they might otherwise struggle to express, and feel empowered during their hospital experience.
The Snoopy mural reflects a wider commitment to transforming hospital spaces into more nurturing and supportive environments for young patients. By integrating art into the healing process, this initiative creates a space where children can not only heal physically but also find solace and emotional relief.
