EUCROF Webinar on “The Patient Centricity Effect – How it benefits Patients, Sites and Sponsors – Practical Cases from Paediatric Studies”. 25 February 2020

The Events&Training Working Group of EUCROF (European CRO Federation) organised the Webinar “The Patient Centricity Effect – How it benefits Patients, Sites and Sponsors – Practical Cases from Paediatric Studies” that was held on 25 February 2020.

Patient centricity has become something of a buzz phrase over the last few years. However, behind the name lies a concept that offers real value. During this webinar, these benefits were discussed, highlighting:

  • Results from recent research that quantifies the positive business impact to sponsors by taking a patient centric approach
  • Exploration of real examples where the patient has benefited from being put at the heart of clinical research
  • Advantages experienced by sites when patients are central to study planning and implementation

Moreover, practical examples on how to involve children in clinical trials were provided.

Rosamund Round, head of Parexel’s Patient Innovation Center, and Mariangela Lupo, Patients Advocacy Manager at TEDDY European Network of Excellence for Paediatric Clinical Research, Head of the Training and Advocacy Area at Consorzio per Valutazioni Biologiche e Farmacologiche (CVBF) were the presenters of the webinar.

If you are interested in this webinar, please, be aware that you can still attend it remotely through the EUCROF Moodle platform at https://elearnin.cvbf.net.
